Brampton families host some of the biggest gatherings in the GTA, and a tent is often what makes a backyard work for a crowd. We install tents in Springdale, Heart Lake, Castlemore, Mount Pleasant, Bramalea and across the city, then take them down afterwards.

Engagement parties, mehndi and sangeet nights, religious celebrations and milestone birthdays are common Brampton bookings. Tell us the guest count and the program for the evening and we will size the tent.

For large guest lists, a marquee or pole tent gives you one covered space for food, a stage area and dancing. Our crew installs and secures it and comes back to remove it.

For a smaller group, a canopy tent is the cheaper option. Our canopies come in 10x10, 10x15 and 10x20, and we can join them together for a longer covered area, though joined canopies aren’t recommended if rain is likely. They work well for a food service area or a smaller backyard party. Some of the smaller canopies can also be picked up for free from our Oshawa location.

If the tent can’t be staked, for example on asphalt, concrete or interlock, we hold it down with concrete weights or water barrels. Which one we use depends on the forecast and the site: in an open area concrete weights are a must, while a backyard sheltered by houses may only need water barrels, which usually cost less.

For homes with smaller backyards, a driveway setup can give you the extra covered space you need.

Dance floors, uplights and string lights are popular for evening celebrations, and heaters extend the season into fall. We also rent sidewalls, plastic flooring, artificial turf, flood lights, fans and coolers.

Planning a tent in Brampton

• If we’ll be staking into the ground, request free underground utility locates from Ontario One Call before your install date.

• Larger tents may need a permit from the City of Brampton. Check with them first; we’ll supply the tent documents they ask for.

• Big celebrations often need the larger tent sizes, which book out first. Reserve early.

• Measure your yard and side gate before calling, especially in townhouse and semi-detached homes.

• Public events in parks like Gage Park go through the City of Brampton’s event process, so start early if you want a tent there.
