Mississauga has every kind of setup, from lakeside homes in Port Credit and Lorne Park to townhouses in Churchill Meadows and corporate campuses near the airport. We install tents across the city and come back to take them down.

Backyard weddings, family celebrations, company barbecues and community festivals make up most of our Mississauga work. Tell us the space and the guest count and we will suggest a tent.

Mississauga is one of our busiest delivery areas. We’ve delivered rentals for events at the University of Toronto Mississauga, Thomas Street Middle School and the Muslim Youth Soccer League.

For larger groups, a marquee or pole tent gives you one covered area. Our crew installs, levels and secures it. Corporate sites usually need a quick check with property management first.

For a smaller group, a canopy tent is the cheaper option. Our canopies come in 10x10, 10x15 and 10x20, and we can join them together for a longer covered area, though joined canopies aren’t recommended if rain is likely. They fit well in townhouse backyards and on patios. Some of the smaller canopies can also be picked up for free from our Oshawa location.

If the tent can’t be staked, for example on asphalt, concrete or interlock, we hold it down with concrete weights or water barrels. Which one we use depends on the forecast and the site: in an open area concrete weights are a must, while a backyard sheltered by houses may only need water barrels, which usually cost less.

Office parks and plazas around the city are often used for staff appreciation events and work well with weighted tents.

Planning a tent in Mississauga

• If we’ll be staking into the ground, request free underground utility locates from Ontario One Call before your install date.

• Larger tents may need a permit from the City of Mississauga. Check with them first; we’ll supply the tent documents they ask for.

• Lakeshore properties are windier, so expect concrete weights or extra staking there.

• For office sites, confirm parking, access and timing with property management.

• Celebration Square is booked through the City of Mississauga, which sets its own rules for structures like tents.
